Laundry extraction ducts are of extreme fire danger with the buildup of lint and fluff combined with heat from the larger clothes dryers. Commonly these ducts are overlooked in the overall maintenance of  buildings such as hotel complexes or Laundromats.

It is advisable that these systems be cleaned at least every 4 - 6 months to prevent the risk of fire and the risk of costly blockages.

Blockages in these systems are common. Over a short period of time the material being exhausted can build up in the duct. The exhaust fan works harder and eventually fails. Frequently staff and customers will also complain of unpleasant odors coming from the laundry which is another indication of the need for maintenance. Please see some examples photos on the right of ducts that have been poorly maintained.

A regular cleaning program will minimize problems. Not only will the system be cleaned but you will be kept informed of any problems that may be occurring in the system so that they can be addressed as part of a regular maintenance program.

Service Maintenance Agreement:
A service agreement offers you the security of knowing that the quoted price will remain fixed for the term of the agreement and that the program will be carried out by a trusted company who has prior experience of the job involved. Please see some examples photos on the right of ducts that have been poorly maintained.

Our service personnel can recommend a suitable program on the report based on the condition of the system which you can then program as a regular service.

Our work complies with Australian Standards and Photographic Evidence of Work Completed (before & after photos) will be supplied.

Certificate Of Compliance:
A Certificate of Compliance for insurance and maintenance records requirements will be supplied post completion of the work.
